Fleetwood Mac has an undeniably widespread appeal. From the Nicks'-penned "Dreams" to Mcvie's "Everywhere", their impact and artistry is matched by few. Their music still remains hugely popular 5 decades later; gaining traction in all age groups, filling venues and sparking new (and renewed) love for an old band. This passion is what drives Sweet Fleet.
What’s really special is that everyone in Sweet Fleet is between 16 and 21 years old. Sweet Fleet was formed in early 2020 by Sarasota-based music teacher Greg Burke, whose daughter, Grace, had been playing some Fleetwood Mac songs at solo gigs, giving Greg the idea to form a young tribute from his students; the group went through multiple different Stevie Nicks’ before settling on then-15-year-old Alyssa Dodge in late 2021. Now 16, the rest of the group is comprised of Grace Burke, 18, as Christine Mcvie; Gannon Torrella, 20, as Lindsey Buckingham; Joey Worthley, 21, as John Mcvie; and Sylvan Nadel, 19, as namesake Mick Fleetwood.
